In this conventional paper I will describe Sir Richard Branson's command style and evaluate the efficiency of his style in the us today. I will give my recommendation of your leadership design that I experience would make Branson a more effective leader. I will also decide ways in which Branson could develop and lead a global group when focusing on a major task. In addition , Let me discuss ways that I could incorporate Branson's command qualities in to my role at my office.
Sir Richard Branson is the president of Virgin Group. He was born in 1950 in britain. Branson dropped out of school at the age of sixteen due to having difficulty in school not only is it diagnosed with dyslexia. Branson started out a student paper at the age of 16. He later on started a mail-order organization and a list label soon after. During the regarding the Virgin mobile brand, Branson also ventured into Flight companies and also started out a record label in the US. Branson started Virgin mobile Galactic the industry space tourism company in 2005. Today the Virgin mobile brand has more than 2 hundred various businesses in more than 30 countries (Dearlove, 2007).
I think that Branson's leadership style is transformational. He is likewise appears to be a really charismatic leader. Transformational leadership is when a leader anticipates future developments that motivate followers to know and adopt a new eyesight of possibilities, developing other folks to be leaders or better leaders, and building the business or group into a community of questioned and worthwhile leaders (Hellriegel & Slocum, 2011).
